Gianluca Muccioli

Passionate about water sports since forever, I live in Rimini, a beautiful seaside city where I grew up with a passion for windsurfing. I started windsurfing in 1982 at the age of 14 with a wonderful group of friends and have been fortunate to witness its development from the beginning, achieving excellence in the sport. In the early 2000s, I began kitesurfing after first seeing it in action in Barbados in '98. I practiced it for twenty years, although it was never a true love affair. In 2009, I built my first hydrofoil, feeling that my sea adventure would continue there. Around the same time, on windless days, I took up SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding), achieving high proficiency in this sport as well. Since 2019, I have focused solely on wingfoiling and supfoiling, following their development with enthusiasm, passion, and curiosity. I make the most of the less-than-oceanic conditions of the beautiful place I call home.
