WARRANTY POLICY
Scope and Duration
SABFOIL warrants its products for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase, as defined by Directive (EU) 2019/771, covering lack of conformity and original defects in materials and/or workmanship.
This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
For business customers (B2B), the goods must be inspected immediately upon receipt. Any defects or non-conformities in terms of quality must be reported in writing within 14 days of delivery to SABFOIL headquarters. After this period, warranty claims will not be accepted unless supported by duly proven and justified reasons.
Acceptance of Terms
By assembling and/or using any SABFOIL product or component, the customer declares that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms and limitations of this Warranty Policy.
Proper Use of the Product
This warranty is valid only when the product is used for normal sporting and recreational activities.
The warranty does not apply to products used for rental, teaching, instructional, professional, or commercial purposes.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear. Such damage includes, but is not limited to:
punctures;
damage caused by coupling with non-original SABFOIL components;
damage resulting from assembly not performed according to the prescribed tightening torque of screws;
damage due to excessive exposure to sunlight;
damage caused by improper handling or storage;
damage caused by use in excessively large waves or by impact with rocks or seabed;
damage caused by high-speed impacts of the foil;
damage caused by excessive jumps, stunts, or maneuvers;
any damage caused by factors other than defects in materials and/or workmanship.
Extreme Activities and User Responsibility
SABFOIL products are tested by specialized personnel and professional riders and are considered safe and suitable for extreme activities when used correctly.
Jumps and freestyle involve inherent risks and require adequate rider skills. Therefore, any wear or breakage not attributable to a proven manufacturing defect will not be covered by this warranty.
Warranty Claim Procedure
SABFOIL reserves the right to make the final determination regarding warranty eligibility.
SABFOIL may require the customer to provide clear photographic and/or video documentation and/or to ship the product to SABFOIL headquarters or an authorized SABFOIL distributor (shipping costs prepaid by the customer). A direct inspection by SABFOIL or an authorized distributor or shop may also be required.
No product may be returned without prior authorization and issuance of a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RMA), which must be clearly visible on the outside of the package.
Warranty Remedies
If a product is deemed defective by SABFOIL, the warranty covers only the repair or replacement of the defective product, at SABFOIL’s discretion.
SABFOIL shall not be liable for any costs, losses, damages, or injuries arising from the use of the defective product.
Warranty on Repaired or Replaced Products
The warranty for any repaired or replaced component remains valid only until the expiration of the original 24-month warranty period, starting from the original purchase date.
All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase, clearly showing the retailer’s name and purchase date.
Limitations
This Warranty Policy constitutes the sole warranty applicable to SABFOIL products. No warranties extend beyond those expressly stated herein.
RETURN POLICY
Return Procedure
Customers may return an item within 14 days from the purchase date.
To initiate a return, a support ticket must be opened through the dedicated customer service portal by clicking on the “Support” section of the SABFOIL website. Once the ticket is opened, the customer will receive a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RMA), which is mandatory in order to proceed with the return.
Returns shipped without prior authorization or without a valid RMA will not be accepted.
Return Restrictions and Eligibility
Returns are subject to the following conditions:
the product must have been purchased directly from the official SABFOIL website;
the return request must be submitted within 14 days from the date of purchase;
the original SABFOIL order number must be provided;
the item must be unused, in perfect condition, complete, and returned in its original packaging;
the product must be suitable for resale.
If any of these conditions are not met, the return will not be processed.
Shipping Costs
All return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
If a returned product is deemed ineligible for a refund, it will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Refunds
Refunds will be issued only after:
approval of the return request;
receipt of the returned product;
verification that the product is in good condition and compliant with return requirements.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
