I'm an absolutely foil obsessed adventurer. Being a professional foiler with the SABFOIL team I get to spend my time learning all the nuances of foiling and share these experiences with a great brand and team. Our home base is on the Surf Coast of Victoria and boy do we get some epic conditions and beautiful waves. We get some wild conditions and I love to get amongst the gnarly waves. I seek to inspire women to pick up the sport and share my journey to help others get excited. With foiling being my passion and Media Communications being my work, I have combined the two to capture my favourite elements of foiling and share them with the world.

What do you love about hydrofoil compared to other watersports?

There is so many reasons why Foiling trumps other water sports. I think my favourite thing being the smooth and silent Ride unlike traditional surfing or wakeboarding, hydrofoiling lifts you above the water's surface, which minimizes the drag and creates a remarkably smooth and almost silent ride. This sensation of gliding above the water is incomparable.

Foiling excels in various water conditions, from choppy waves to calm lakes. Where other watersports might be limited by the need for specific wave sizes or wind conditions, hydrofoiling can adapt, making it a more versatile choice for different environments.

I also love the innovation of technology. The engineering behind hydrofoils is fascinating. The hydrofoil's ability to lift and glide using the principles of aerodynamics underwater adds a layer of excitement and appreciation for the technology involved. Being on the cutting edge of watersport technology adds an extra thrill to the experience.

What's your favorite trick or riding style?

My favourite riding style is the dicipline of wingfoiling. I love the waves, so ripping turns on waves is always the best thing for me.

Which are your 3 favorite spots for foiling? Why?

Point danger: My home spot is pretty amazing, it has the perfect peeling wave when swell is up. Through summer we get 15-20 knots every afternoon.
Fiji: the clear blue beautiful water and trade wind combination is pretty special.

Other passions besides hydrofoiling?

I love all things adventure really, including skiing, mountain-biking, surfing and hiking. I think I am just so passionate about being in nature, especially the ocean.
