What's different in this Balz’s PRO model?
Well, it still has the heart of a Medusa PRO... but it’s also Balz Müller's signature model, so some customization was done based on his advice and preference to enhance his comfort zone.
The first thing you will notice is the different graphics. To give this model a touch of character, we decided to vary our purely technical style with something more "freak" that would better represent our Balz. Also, as the wing is a variation of the Medusa PRO line, we added a giant Medusa at the bottom so that it can be shown to the world at every aerial maneuver!
Speaking of technicisms instead, the surface area has been increased and the dihedral angle halved, to ensure better low-end and greater maneuverability, particularly after landing to perform consecutive tricks.

Balz seemed to us rather happy with his PRO model after much testing and feedback. This is his personal comment for you after the first sessions!

Technical insights
The soul is the same as a Medusa PRO but there are a couple of aspects to specify.
Let's start as always with the data sheet that helps us understand the essence of the wing. For the sake of clarity, let's compare it with the Medusa PRO 869 we talked about during the last Tech Talk newsletter.
The two wings have rather similar general characteristics, with a particular outline and a tight profile to favor speed and acceleration and a medium-high AR to give good efficiency while maintaining excellent maneuverability.
The most important difference, which you can notice in the pictures, is the curvature of the wing... The dihedral angle has in fact been halved and the twist at the tips also decreased. This was a specific request from Balz to ensure even more maneuverability and make the landings on a greater surface area of the wing, in order to improve rebound for consecutive aerial tricks.
In addition to this, in this model, the surface area has been increased to 1000 cm2. To do it, the span was touched as little as possible so as not to lose too much maneuverability, while we preferred to operate on the chord by giving it an extra 17mm on the root. Another important point is that the profile and thickness are the same as the very fast 869... All this was made to further improve low-end and take-off, ensuring that you can practice and have fun in virtually any conditions, but still have the high performance of the Medusa PRO line.

Recommended setups
For the recommended setups, we can only suggest that you follow Balz's advice!
You can find his two personal sets at the link below. A surprise for you is that in his kits you will find the limited-edition mast 83 with BALZ freak graphics... But only in the kit!
Balz's choice was to opt for the super versatile M83K mast and the Flat 370 stabilizer on both kits, a fast and above all very maneuverable product.
For the fuselage, he chose the shortest F663K in the WING set for its agility and to minimize drag. For the WIND set, on the other hand, he chose the F903K, an ideal size for everything.
If you decide to just buy the wing and want a bit more stability while winging, you can also combine it with the F703K fuselage. As for the mast, stick with the standard Kraken line and choose the model according to your height preference.
As for the windsurfing, however, the advice is to stick with Balz's setup.
It's a different story for the stabilizer, where the rider's preference rules. In this case, however, we would advise against going for the Gullwing line, because the extreme stability kills the essence of this Balz PRO front wing. Stick to Flat 370 or Reverse 395 if you want a bit more drive and excellent speed.
Why buy Balz's 909 Medusa PRO?
First of all, if Balz is also your idol, to support him and carry his name with you on the beach!
Apart from the emotional side, this wing is a great tool to add to your quiver for all conditions.
As Balz says, a PRO line doesn't necessarily have to be unusable by standard riders because of its radicality. In this case, Balz has decided for him and for you to extend his 'comfort zone', to be able to get into the water and push the limits even in lower conditions.
We don't always have to climb the mountain, sometimes the limits have to be exceeded even towards the bottom!
Conclusion
