Designed and developed in close collaboration with freeride pioneer Balz Müller, the all-new Blackbird 1155 Balz PRO sets a new benchmark in versatile foil design. Our ambition was bold: to create an accessible front wing (easy enough for riders of all levels) that excels seamlessly across Parawing, Pump, and Downwind disciplines.

Featuring rounded, non-pointed wingtips that actively reduce injury risk during falls or handling, while simultaneously channeling flow turbulence to reduce drag and increase virtual wingspan.

I love playing with the elements and harnessing their energy to carry me forward. I wanted a foil that takes off effortlessly, glides forever and, just as importantly, still feels agile and playful.
That’s why we created the Freemove Balz line: to make effortless glide accessible and turn even average or challenging conditions into pure funboarding.
